23 years old and I dont have a period?

Im 23 years old and I dont have a period. I’ve had it a few times, like once a year, but I havnt had it in the past 2 years… Should I start to take birth controll to see if it comes. I dont have a doctor, so I cant go see one… Any advise?

if your very active that could be why but if you arent there could be defently something wrong and dont take birth control that lightens your period more

Its normal actually Some girls only have periods once a year. For any age For awhile I only had it like every other year and the doctor told me it was very normal and it happens to a lot of girls you have to worry more if you get a lot of periods

oh my god go to the doctor asap thats not normal at all!!!. you could have that condition where you go through menopause early a woman in england had it go to your doc immeaditley like 2moz or now if its daytime when you get this

GO TO A DOCTOR.. THERES DEFENITLY SOMETHING WRONG.. IF you DONT HAVE A DOCTOR GO FIND ONE OR ASK ANYBODY ABOUT ONE.. AND GO.. your SUPPOSE TO GET your PERIOD BY THE TIME your 16. it is highly advised to go see one if you havent by then..

I am in the same situation… I’m 20 and have like 2 peiods a year. I am scared to go to the doctor… but I would totally recommend it. &&& I hope dioneff is right… lol

DO not take birth dcontrol those things can do much more damage.Go and see your doctor.There must be something wrong

yes, firstly - get a doctor!

and actually, the doctor may put you on birth control…the pill acts as a way to force your body to ovulate and thus regulating your periods…

have you got polycystic ovary syndrome? you know, you periods are painful, sex is unconfortable etc? in some cases, weight gain?

it’s hard to speculate, but no, having an annual periods is not normal, and certainly indicates that there may be a hormonal problem…but this can only be verified and your problem diagnosed with blood tests and if necassary, more investigation. it’s normally invasive..

but you need to get a doc…pleeease!
