he keps drinking afta he said he would stop

me and dad had a fight I movd out 4 a few days we talkd and he said he wasent gona drink in frount of me anymre bt he has been I hate it I mean 1 or 2 is ok bt nt when your drunk every secound nyt I dont want to move out I love my dad please help

seems he needs help please know he doesnt mean to hurt you he cant help it I dont think funmail me for info I know from experience of this type of thing… \hope all goes well :)

It’s difficult to stop drinking.Addiction you know.So give yourself some time.

Agreed. You need to realize that you father has a disease. Sit down and talk to him, get some family members who are concerned to come and talk to him with you. Tell him how much you love him and how much his drinking affects you. He needs to try and go to some AA meetings as well. Those meetings have changed so many people’s lives and the people in them are strong people who are willing to help.

Seems your Dad “the Adult” needs a little help. Is there a AA near you? A support group. You should not have to be the adult here. Please try to get someone else involved. Ultimately, your Dad is the one to make the decision to quit or not. Just tell him it hurts you when you see him out of control and it isn’t good for him either.
