Have you upgraded to Windows Vista?
Have you upgraded to Windows Vista? I did, but my video card is too crappy to even do anything cool with it. If you haven’t upgraded yet, are you planning to?
I intend to leave it till it’s well bedded in and the bugs ironed out. This is what I did with Windows XP and didn’t go far wrong!
I have upgraded to Windows Vista, Home Edition and its pretty cool. There are a few things that I found irritating, such as it asking you every time if the action you want is what you told it to do and not some kind of virus. I suppose it does remember your choice but for the first couple of times you use Vista it seems to always be popping windows up at you. Another thing I’ve found is that the boot up takes a while, like 5 to 10 minutes at the most. Once you get booted up though, its pretty nice. It opens most programs faster and has a user-friendly interface. Plus the personalizing of the Sidebar is pretty cool.
