heck ya!! I’m sure we’ve all gone through that feeling!! it sucks worst when you really care about the person you’re trying to cheer up too!! it’s sad but… some people just don’t respect the effort of how much you try to cheer them up sometimes… best thing to do is to just let it be… and depending on the situation… continue to remind the person you’re trying to help out, that you’re always there for them!

hope this helped!!

When I try to help somebody, I tend to succeed (I know my friends very well). It’s just that sometimes, people won’t let you help them and you can feel a bit helpless at times and perhaps even a bit unaccepted. It’s perfectly normal to feel like you’ve failed or that you’ve been rejected somewhat, but you need to remember one very important thing. You devoted your time to trying to help somebody who needed you and you tried to cheer them up. If you fail, at least you know you tried and that this one was out of your hands (you could do very little). Don’t think about the time you lost, think about the support you gave (whether or not is was completely helpful) :).
