Hat Hair

I’m on a trip to the presidential inauguration this year and I now it will be freezing cold. Especially since I live where it’s warm the majority of the year.

I figured a hat would be a good way to keep warm, but there’s a problem with that. I have short hair. Not just short, but a pixie cut. I have naturally curly hair so it looks really cute and feminine when I spike or gel it. But I’m pretty sure wearing a hat would mess up my hair. Also if I don’t do anything to my hair, I’d probably look too boyish.

Any advice on hats that won’t mess up my style or alternative styles that won’t be messed up by a hat?

You could buy one of those headbands that just covers your ears. If I were you I’d just wear a normal winter hat, there are so many cute ones out there. I know people with short hair that wear them and it doesn’t make them look boyish because their hat is all cute and not boyish looking.
