Is this normal for a turtle to do?

I tried to approach my turtle today but it freaked out and this long, black, thing came out of it’s private and went back in again. I have had previous experiences like that with my other turtle but the turtle excreted the thing out. Was my turtle so FREAKED out that it pooed it’s intestines out? I NEED THE ANSWER ASAP!!!!!!

Yes its normal your turtles must be fanning or trying to atract a mate. Pretty much it was showing you its p#$@%
