What happens if the mail carrier leaves your shipped item outside or in your mail box and someone steals it?

I ordered extensions, but what do I do if someone just snoops around my neighborhood and thinks its a phone and just stills it or something, Im just wondering.

you call the delivery company with your details about said package, and report it stolen.

also, tell the cops but that may be a dead end

A lot of companies use mail insurances that will pay for packet loss.

You call the local post office and they will send their own police officer. The US Postal Service has it’s own police force. They have weapons and can arrest a suspect. Their law enforcement branch is the Postal Inspection Service. http://funadvice.com/r/bmb65c4nfd9
