Hanging on to my one night stand

I was recently involved in a one night stand which is indeed not the ideal situation…the guy and I had been getting to know each other before it happened and and are still talking but it is just very wierd now How do I get him to realize that I want more than just a one night stand…and how can I tell if he is feeling the same way? So embarrasing please help!

you’re right: one night stands are not ideal. usually when guys talk about having a one night stand, they just want the sex; not the relationship. you should try talking to him, see his views on the “relationship” idea, and if they are negative, you need to move on. there are better guys out ther that know how to respect a girl for WHO she is; not WHAT she is. trust me, you don’t need a “pig”.

This is the problem with one night stands: -The guy might loose respect for you because you gave it up to easy -The guy could become bored with you, because he already got “it”

All you can do is talk to him. Ask him where ya’ll stand. Having a one night stand with someone that you potentially want to date, can be a horrible idea. It’s too late now, and there’s no need to dwell on it. Just talk to him about it, see how he feels about you, and where he thinks this relationship (if even one) is going.
