How do I ask someone to hang out??

I want to ask this kid to hangout. Do i just ask him like “Hey, you want to hangout?”. should i even ask him, like what would we do? There is nothing to do, like should i ask more people cause like two people going to the movies might be weird and there is like nothing else to do.

There is plenty to do, you can do pretty much anything. Why not ask him what he enjoys doing and go from that. Just text/call/inbox him and say “Hey, you wanna chill sometime?” Woop, hope I helped :b

Honestly I just moved to a new town this year, all you have to say is “Hey! We should hang out sometime”. After you do it the first time you’ll find yourself saying it a lot haha.

Haha, I have had plenty of times when I have to think about what I’m going to say before asking someone to hang out because it might sound weird or whatever. But instead of the word hang I just say “Hey you wanna go chill at the mall tomorrow” I know it might sound ignorant but it gets the job done. My best friend and I go to my movies just us to, it might seem weird at first but we know we are not gay (not saying being gay is bad but you know what i mean) and we have nothing better to do, so why not hang out.
