Halloween costumes that are homemade?

Any good homemade Halloween costumes that could win a contest? I want it too be simple but FULL of technique. It doesn’t have to be simple though.

I made a werewolf costume for my cousin…sot simple. It took a whole lotta time and effort and starting over. and it was pretty expensive

A California Raisin:

take a black trash bag and poke leg holes. stick your legs through. fill bag with crumpled newspaper. cut arm holes. stick arms through. there’s not much more you have to do. you can find some way so it stays up other than arm holes…

wear sunglasses too so you look “california”
