How to propose to a guy?

I think its a great idea… especially for this yr 2008.. its a leap yr and there is an old saying that during a leap yr the girl is supposed to propose.. I’m going to propose to my boyfriend this year… I’m doin it on his birthday.. I’m not sure where though. probably somewhere nice.. and I’m going to tell him that I want to wake up next to him every morning and that I want him to be the one that kisses me good-night. and I want to spend the rest of my life with him.. loving him more and more each day..

its okay for a girl to propose, but if you haven’t talked about marriage or engagement I wouldnt do it. In my opinion I would wait for the guy to propose because girls are the ones that usually develope feelings faster than guys. So you might be head over heels in love and he just might not be ready yet. So if he is willing to propose and he does, then you know he feels the same way and wants to be with you =)

girls shouldn’t have to propose, if the guy loves you enough he will. If he doesn’t that means he doesn’t want to

guys should be the one to propose.

I see nothing wrong with a female proposing, in fact I proposed to my husband to be, and we ae getting married on Saturday. But me and him have been together nine years,and we had discusssed it many times. So what I did was I got his boyfriend to take him out I called him and told him to meet me at the house,when he got there I had the house covered in candle and I took rose petals and let it lead him to the bedroom where the music was playing and there was a box in the bed, with a note inside that said find me in the bathroom. He came in the bathroom where I was. I had a tub full of water with bubble of course,and a glass of wine, with a note of the mirror that said get in the tub. Once I heard him get in the tub, I came out of the bathroom closet, and got on the floor on one knee and said a poem that was filled with memories and I pulled my ring out and asked him to mary me and he said yes.
