How to get pinker gums?

I brush my teeth and gums twice a day and my gums dont seem to getting any pinker what does dark gums mean..and what should I do to get my gums pinker

brushing doesnt make your gums pinker it just keeps them healthy if your gums were very unhealthy, in poor condition and started rotting, then that might be why there dark if theyve always been like that there probably normal if the darker colour is recent see a dentist asap and ask him/her about it
