Is it really that gross for a girl not to remove her leg hair?

I don’t think so. I have blonde hair so you can’t really tell but, I just wear pants so nobody notices. I do shave every other day. I would say in summer, it can be a distraction if you’re flaunting it.

No one really notices or cares. Some people find it gross , but who cares what others opinions are on you ? Pfft I dont find it gross ! The only thing is if you have dark , very noticeable hairs. It’s not bad, but in my opinion if you’re going to wear shorts or a skirt , maybe you should shave it. Only because I get extremely embarrassed if my legs are slightly un-shaven since I have really dark hairs. But you could wear pantyhose that somewhat matches your skin tone and it looks good too. Also if you shave you have to keep it up or else you’ll get little bumps on your legs and it looks a bit odd. I don’t recommend you do it unless you’re absolutely ready to take on the challenge !

You can do whatever you want. In the US the custom is for women to shave their legs and in recent years to shave personal areas as well. Except for head shaving the purpose of all shaving is to appear younger. A man with a clean shaven face looks more youthful just as a woman’s legs look more girlish shaven. With a lot of women now shaving everything below the neck it makes me wonder if guys are turning into pervs otherwise why do women want to appear pre-pubescent? The perception for most people is that unshaven women are bohemians, hippies, tree huggers, etc.

In the winter I dont shave.. but in the summer and spring I most definitely do! It’s not GROSS to me.. but if you want the majority answer .. then i think that a lot of people might find it sort of weird and not feminine. Do what you want though!

Eh it depends I guess, me personally if I’m too tired or lazy I won’t shave, I could care less what people think.. Oh well!!

Nah, not at 13. Once you start, you have to keep doing it because it comes back prickly and some people swear it comes back thicker. My legs drive me mad once the hair starts to grow back, even if I cant really see it. So, enjoy the freedom while you have it because once you start it kinda becomes an annoying chore. Once you get into high school its a lot less of a big deal. I fondly remember that almost every day before gym in grade 10 there would be a bunch of girls yelling about how they forgot to shave their legs and then everyone would just laugh and say ‘no worries, me to’. So you see, no one really cares that much. Plus I know quite a lot of girls who don’t keep up with their shaving unless they are seeing someone, gotta keep up the illusion after all :P

I only shave like twice a month because that’s usually when it starts to get noticeable but I don’t really think it should matter if a girl shaves their legs or not.

in the summer i shave my legs, cuz i wear shorts and dresses alot and when your sitting in the car and your boyfriend is with you.. and the sun hits your leg.. you can see all the hairs and i think its embarrassing.. i really dont shave my legs thru out the winter cuz all i wear is long pants and jeans and stuff so.. no need for the winter but for summer i think its necassary
