Green potato eaten??!!

I just baked a baked potato. I only ate like a little bite of it becuase I noticed it was like green in some areas. I am totally afraid there is some kind of poision in it or something!!! what can I do???

Its like a potato sun bun, instead of getting red like we do, it gets green. You’ll be perfectly fine.

The potato had solanine in it…it happens when the potato is exposed to too much light.

You’re going to be just fine - solanine is only toxic in large amounts, but now that you know, next time you can cut away the green part.
