It depends if you want to go all out or not. You can wear dresses wich are very short and decorated with sequins, a fringe and feathers. If you want to go more traditional Dominican then you can wear short frilled skirts with peasant style tops. The shoes must obviously have a smooth sole.

Tight fitting top and flowy skirt or a tight fitting dress with a flowly bottom. It looks amazing when that dance is done to have a skirt that flows and circles around your body. Keep it just at knee length though, any longer and it could trip you up.
