use an eyeliner brush ALWAYS. apply wet liner to the top of your lids,it has the most definition and its probably the best place to put that kind of liner. Use pencil liner (still using an eyeliner brush) on your water line. it looks the best and unlike liquid liner, it wont get in your eye. gel liner is best for smudging and stuff like that, so if you want a smokey eye look, I go with a gel or pencil liner. I don’t know, I hope it helps. BTW! to apply liner on your water line, do NOT pull your skin down taught. this causes wrinkles in the later life. just use your pinky to slightly pull down just enough so you can work with the area.
