God is just imaginary. Then why should we pray?!

Why should we believe in god even if we know that god doesnt really exist? We even know that god is just an imaginary object.

Answer #1

God created us, along with the Heavens and the earth. Look at the complexities of the human body, how everything works perfectly. God created us. There are so many signs of God, all you have to do is open your eyes.

Answer #2

No Captain, I think she is a Christian, only thing is, she has let her guard down for a moment there.

I must admit I was very upset about her answer at that moment. But after I’ve posted my reply I realised that, that is the exact example of the irrational way of thinking the bible teaches them and most of them apply to their normal life’s. I sincerely hope others read it and start to understand WHY people de-convert. They are condemned to have NO or to little faith at all, if and when their prayers do not come true. Funny how people blame themselves for the bad things happening in their life’s and praise god for the good things happening to them! This imaginary friend just can’t lose; he’s got a win, win situation running for him!

Eternal life was online only an hour before I came on now, gave advice on one of the other threads, didn’t bother to reply on this, one can only imagine the reason for that!

When you read this Eternallife and I know you will, here is another eye opener, an example which I was to furious at the time, to also include:

My Father were involved in an accident 25yrs ago, had numerous operations to fix his back. (Take in consideration, my parents, I and my entire family were Christians) so everyone and my Dad prayed for him to get better. Ten years down the line, he was still under so much pain and depression started to eat him alive, even said maybe god didn’t want him to be alive anymore, blaming himself! Started to have problems with his divestiture system, because of all the pain medication. All along, everyone kept on praying and he decided to go and see a pastor to personally pray for him to heal. Yeah you guessed right, exactly nothing happened. Eventually my Father’s body couldn’t handle the hammering any more and 21 years after his first operation, he fell into a deep coma after numerous strokes. At his bedside everyone yet again said prayers, like before. He passed away after 14 days of hell for all of us. At the funeral, which was only 17 days after his death (they had to send his body all over the place for tests) I saw him and there and then the naked truth started to make sense to me!

True, it was a shock for me knowing I am never going to see him again, very sad, but the fact that he himself and all of us prayed our eyes out and NOTHING good came of it, meant (like my post before this) there is no one who help you, not from above, actually nowhere. You can only hope, the doctors who treat you, are able to help you!

I stopped having self pity, (because god didn’t heal my Dad, let him suffer until the end and eventually decided to take him away) slowly but surely during the time I de-converted. Now, I still miss my Dad a lot, but can rationally make sense out of his situation. If only I knew then, I would have told him that, there was no god who abandoned him, or didn’t think him worthy to help him. If he understood it, he also wouldn’t have had the severe depression which he dealt with, all of us know how depression only, can damage the body!

I sincerely hope no one has to experience anything like this, to give them a wakeup call, but I am sure many, many people had a loved one, suffering with stomach cancer or something similar, walked away from their death bed and said: “This was god’s plan” all along!!!

I chose not to walk with blindfolds!!!

Sorry just cant resist posting the following:

“If the Bible is literally true, then something is seriously amiss. Simply look at the facts. In Matthew 7:7 Jesus says:

Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! If “every one who asks receives”, then if we ask for cancer to be cured, it should be cured. Right? If “our Father who is in heaven gives good things to those who ask him”, then if we ask him to cure cancer, he should cure it. Right? And yet nothing happens. In Matthew 17:20 Jesus says:

For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. If “nothing will be impossible to you”, then if we ask to cure cancer tonight, cancer should disappear. Right? Yet nothing happens. Note that if we take the Bible less-than-literally here, the statement “nothing will be impossible to you” becomes “lots of things will be impossible to you,” and that would mean that Jesus is lying. In Matthew 21:21:

I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. If “you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer”, then if we ask to cure cancer tonight, cancer should dissappear. Right? Yet nothing happens. Note again that there is not a non-literal way to interpret “you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer”, unless you replace “whatever” with “nothing” or “little.” The message is reiterated Mark 11:24:

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. If God says, “believe that you have received it, and it will be yours,” and if we believe in God and his power, then what should happen if we pray to cure cancer tonight? It should be cured. Either that, or God is lying. “

Answer #4

“In John chapter 14, verses 12 through 14, Jesus tells all of us just how easy prayer can be:

“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” [ref] Look at how direct this statement is: “You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” This is the “Son of God” speaking. Have we taken him “too literally?” No. This is a simple, unambiguous statement. Have we taken his statement “out of context?” No - Jesus uses the word anyone. Yet Jesus’ statement is obviously false. Because when we ask God to cure cancer tonight, nothing happens. We see the same thing over and over again…

In Matthew 18:19 Jesus says:

Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them. In James 5:15-16 the Bible says: And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. In Mark 9:23: All things are possible to him who believes. In Luke 1:37: For with God nothing will be impossible. Nothing could be simpler or clearer than Jesus’ promises about prayer in the Bible. Yet, when we pray to eliminate cancer, nothing happens. And keep in mind that this is Jesus talking here. These are not the words of human beings. These are not the words of “inspired” human beings. These are supposedly the words of God himself, incarnated in a human body. Jesus is supposed to be a perfect, sinless being. And yet, it is obvious that Jesus is lying. What Jesus says is clearly incorrect.”

Answer #5

God truly is real. The universe shows intelligent design and reflects God.

…more opinions… NOT facts…

Those that only seek to refute His existence will be tossed to & fro like the wind. In the end, they will reap a whirlwind. Emptiness and confusion are the masters of those who choose to walk in darkness.

How judgemental and naive. Just because YOUR life sucks without religion, doesn’t mean it applies to everyone else…

People want to see or hear God and they sadly miss Him. God told us to have faith that He is who He said He was & there for all who call on Him in truth.

Yes… have faith… believing WITHOUT KNOWING.

Just look at the human eye in all it’s complexities…it is a truly powerful salute to God who made us.

The human eye has a blindspot… Did you simply not know that, or can you make up an excuse for why he’d make it with such a flaw? By the way, taking a complex biological construct and saying ‘’tadaaa!’’ doesn’t prove God created the universe; it only proves that you needed an explanation, and in your opinion, the ‘’…what ELSE could’ve done it?’’ is the best one.

God is neither a cosmic butler, just there to do our bidding. Nor is He going to allow us to be presumptuous by defying His Laws without consequences.

Focus on yourself, you’ve violated enough of his laws already.

Those that refute every Christian thought on this site would do well to pray a sincere prayer or even think a sincere thought - asking God to truly reveal Himself to them. God will do just that!

Asking people who DON’T believe in God, to talk to him, is utterly moronic. They DON’T BELIEVE HE EXISTS. Why the hell would they pray?

Bottom line. Faith is ESSENTIAL.

To a person without faith, pretending to have faith is pointless. To a person who HAS faith, trying to find tangible justification for that faith, is to show weakness in that faith.

Answer #6

“Christians can demonstrate that they are Christians In Mark 16:17-18, Jesus is very clear about what True Christians will be able to do to demonstrate their belief: And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Can your Minister, Pastor or Priest drink poison without dying? If not, according to Jesus, he must not believe.

Simply think about it. Jesus and the Bible are quite clear about these things. And your Minister, Pastor or Priest should have the closest connection to Jesus of anyone you know. Is your Minister, Pastor or Priest following the Bible? Probably not. There is no one you know who is doing all of these things.

There is no Christian on earth who can drink poison without dying. !!!

The reason why your Minister, Pastor or Priest ignores the Bible is because God is imaginary. If God were real, your Minister, Pastor or Priest would be following the Bible to the letter. — And so would you.”

Answer #7

For those that say that God doesn’t exist, the burden of proof is on you.

WRONG. It is the Christians who all too often think its their ‘duty’ to spread the gospel and convert people. Atheists aren’t required, by a deity or a book, to do that. So the burden of proof is on YOU.

For those, like myself, who know He does exist…

WRONG. You don’t KNOW he exists, you merely BELIEVE he exists… LEARN THE DIFFERENCE.

…we have the Bible and many other evidences that prove God’s existence.

WRONG. Absolutely NONE of the ‘evidences’ you speak of, prove God exists. They merely CONVINCE you that he does… LEARN THE DIFFERENCE.

God gave us 99% evidence and we apply 1% faith.

Faith = belief without KNOWING: and whatever poorly calculated percentage you wish to apply to it, doesn’t negate the lack of knowing.

The evidences really are that strong, yet many choose to deny the evidence!

…no… they aren’t… the evidence is subjective… as is your opinion of it.

Answer #9

Also healing of cancer or any other disease is not guaranteed just because one has faith in God. It very well may be that God’s will is not to heal that person. God is sovereign and He will do what is His right to do. Ultimately it will all work together for good to those that are called by God.

Answer #10

Eternallife People who has asked with faith has receive the cure for cancer. Anyone who asks but has no faith will not receive a cure if he or does not have FAITH.

NOW you’ve REALLY pi$$ed me off!!!

You’re meaning to tell me: My Moms sister who had cancer 4yrs ago, who went for chemotherapy, who nearly stayed in the church for her entire life, got cured because she prayed and had FAITH?

So 4yrs down the line, the cancer returned and I must mention, NOTHING of her lifestyle changed!!! She DIED in December 2008!!!

Tell me WHAT THE HECK you’re trying to say??? Because I can tell you, she and her entire family Prayed their eyes out + the people of their church! What the hell must they have done wrong in their prayers, ooohhh maybe their hands weren’t properly folded like prescribed!!!

Suppose you’re going to come up with a unrealistic explanation of: Her time on earth were served OR god needed her in heaven (as if he ever need someone according to the bible) OR perhaps he took her away from her suffering (which he, according to you, brought on her) OR we do not always know gods reasons. I Don’t want to hear that, keep that for yourself, I know the drill.

What about: A HUMAN BODY CAN ONLY FIGHT OFF THAT MUCH AND SCIENCE CAN ONLY HELP THEM SO FAR – WHICH I accept as a FACT! Not the total nonsense religious people are trying to tell themselves and their loved ones to comfort their delusional minds!

Answer #11

God truly is real. The universe shows intelligent design and reflects God. God reveals Himself to those that sincerely and earnestly seek Him. Those that only seek to refute His existence will be tossed to & fro like the wind. In the end, they will reap a whirlwind. Emptiness and confusion are the masters of those who choose to walk in darkness. People want to see or hear God and they sadly miss Him. God told us to have faith that He is who He said He was & there for all who call on Him in truth.

God is under no obligation to answer prayers from those who are not truly His children & outside of His will. God, in essence, says believe first and then He will reveal Himself. Although God has revealed Himself to some prior to their belief. Often God reveals Himself through circumstances/providence/His Word/His creation/our very bodies - as we are a magnificent display of God’s handiwork! Just look at the human eye in all it’s complexities…it is a truly powerful salute to God who made us.

God is neither a cosmic butler, just there to do our bidding. Nor is He going to allow us to be presumptuous by defying His Laws without consequences. Those that refute every Christian thought on this site would do well to pray a sincere prayer or even think a sincere thought - asking God to truly reveal Himself to them. God will do just that!

Answer #12

captainassassin, you are professing yourself to be wise, but in reality you are foolish. The fool has said in his heart that God doesn’t exist.

I never said that God doesn’t exist… and I don’t BELIEVE that God doesn’t exist. I also never professed to being wise… even though I AM.

While you have the right to believe in yourself/trees/rocks or your car as your savior, you have a bitter and hateful attitude towards the things of God.

…no I don’t… you use the words ‘bitter’ and ‘hateful’ FAR too casually. A sign of inexperience on your part. Predictable.

You, being a non-believer, cannot simply say God doesn’t exist. That’s akin to saying you don’t believe in gravity, but you’d be wise to think twice before you walk off a cliff!

Gravity can be perceived, God cannot. So don’t compare the two, it makes you look even MORE incompetent.

God has done many things to try to get you to acknowledge His presence and worship Him in spirit and in truth. The posts on this site that speak of God’s existence are but one example.

BAD example.

They say that the dog (in the crowd of other dogs) who yelps the loudest is the one that got hit with a rock. Maybe you are that dog (figuratively speaking )and the rock that hit you is the truth that God is working on your stony heart with.

Howabout I hit YOU with a rock, and you let me know if it feels ‘godly’ …maybe your just an idiot who pretends to be righteous ONLY for the inflated sense of worth.

Learn more about your own religion. You lack both the wisdom and charisma to represent God in a productive manner.

Answer #13

People who has asked with faith has receive the cure for cancer. Anyone who asks but has no faith will not receive a cure if he or does not have FAITH.

That is the most hateful, ignorant, pompous statement that you’ve said so far. You’re WRONG. You’re an idiot. And finally… you’re NOT a Christian.

Answer #14

God is very real. He is everywhere. By faith we believe. You will find out on Judgement day, that Jesus is the Messiah and died for us on the cross. All our sins are forgiven. Everyone can have an opinion, but please rethink and be saved.

How do you KNOW he doesn’t exist? How do you KNOW he’s imaginary?

Answer #16

Why should we believe in god even if we know that god doesnt really exist? We even know that god is just an imaginary object

and you know this HOW?

Answer #17

Thats one person’s opinion that God is imaginary.According to you,it doesnt make sense. What about the others?:)

Answer #18

No No No Infoholic you clearly didn’t read my post above: Suppose you’re going to come up with a unrealistic explanation of: Her time on earth were served OR god needed her in heaven (as if he ever need someone according to the bible) OR perhaps he took her away from her suffering (which he, according to you, brought on her) OR we do not always know gods reasons. I Don’t want to hear that, keep that for yourself, I know the drill.

Keep your crappy irrational explanations to yourself, or tell it to someone who WOULD still believe you or who still have to cling to a fairy tale to ease their pain, I am strong enough to carry the pro’s and con’s which life dealt and you know what, my life has never been better! Death would always be sad to me, because I am still human, only my mindset changed! Depression, anger and negativity or denial is no part of my life. I teach my kids to believe in their own strengths, to observe and rationalise it. I WILL protect them from a delusional way of life!

Answer #19

First to answer the question.
We should not believe in God if we know that he does not exist. However we do and so we worship. We also know that that He is not imaginary therefore we should believe in Him.

jane_of_the_jungle

You are not reading the Bible properly and so you are not seeing the truth. If you read the verse you have quoted properly you would see the verse requires faith for you to receive what you ask for. How come you missed it?

“I tell you the truth, anyone who has FAITH in me…”

“For truly, I say to you, if you have FAITH as a grain of mustard seed…”

“I tell you the truth, if you have FAITH and do not doubt…”

“”I tell you the FAITH, anyone who has faith in me …”

People who has asked with faith has receive the cure for cancer. Anyone who asks but has no faith will not receive a cure if he or does not have FAITH.

Answer #20

For those that say that God doesn’t exist, the burden of proof is on you. For those, like myself, who know He does exist, we have the Bible and many other evidences that prove God’s existence. His working in our lives is evidence enough for some. God gave us 99% evidence and we apply 1% faith. The evidences really are that strong, yet many choose to deny the evidence!

Jesus being an historic figure is sound & proven. Christ being God in human flesh who came to take away the sins of the world is the real question that you must find the answer to! If you die in your sins these words will haunt you. God made the way back to Himself thru Christ!

Answer #21

he’s an imaginary friend to adults and kids who need to tell all the crap that has happened in their life to.

Answer #22

“On October 2, 2001, the New York Times reported that researchers at prestigious Columbia University Medical Center in New York had discovered something quite extraordinary. Using virtually foolproof scientific methods the researchers had demonstrated that infertile women who were prayed for by Christian prayer groups became pregnant twice as often as those who did not have people praying for them. The study was published in the Journal of Reproductive Medicine. Even the researchers were shocked. The study’s results could only be described as miraculous.” This study was later proven to be completely fraudulent. However, everyone who cut out the original article in the NYTimes and posted it on their refrigerators still has that article as “proof” that prayer works

Answer #23

Saying something is fake takes no evidence, Saying something is real takes true evidence.

Actually BOTH require evidence. And its how you interpret that evidence that leads you to one conclusion of the other. In this case, its a subject that CAN NOT be PROVEN one way or the other. So to say that you KNOW he’s real, or that you KNOW he’s fake… is wrong on BOTH counts.

get the new and old testement bibles and rent or buy The Passion Of The Christ and watch the movie about 2 times so you can understand

You’ve just RUINED your credibility.

Answer #24

that is a very good quetion that only YOU can decide what the answer is.

do you feel like praying to an imaginary being, or taking the reigns and being in control of your life on your own.

it all depends on what you want to continue to believe, if praying makes you feel better - go for it.

Answer #25

I find this funny.. People always go. “HOW DO YOU KNOW HE IS FAKE HUH” Then when you ask how do they know he is real they pull “I have faith” out of their butt’s. Faith is not proof. Saying he lives in you is not proof. Saying something is fake takes no evidence, Saying something is real takes true evidence. Not imaginary things.

Answer #26

In your heart/mind He may not exist but He live within me ! - that’s how I know He’s real ! - as described in John 3 : 16, once you accept Salvation through Jesus, the Holy Spirit takes up residence with you and you’re assured of your fate - you become an heir with Jesus…with all the benefits of the many wonderous promises in His word, Amen !! - whine, stamp your feet, and do whatever, it doesn’t change this Glorious truth one bit - you’ve tried everything else, try Jesus.

Answer #27

some people believe in different things. Some people actually believe god is real and others believe he is not and some even do not even really know what they believe in because they can see the sides of both beliefs. The people who usually believe in god, pray. Remember, you do not have to pray, it is all up to you and what you believe in!

Answer #28

Look … I hear Him, but it wasn’t always that way. He’s not an “object”, He/She is a real person “with feelings” He is here as I write. I can best answer by stating what I know to be “personally true” The mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.

                                                                                                            Proverbs 16:9

A prayer is nothing more than a “high speed” connection to the heavenly/earthly “mother board” of the universal computer. Either you tune in or lose your connection. Those of us who do pray know, “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of G-d, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given him.” James 1:5 This said, bear in mind, it is also written: “And indeed all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” 2 Timothy 3:12

Only prayer can reveal the creator to the created. G-d is a gentleman and does not force himself on you. In fact He says … “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3 ~

Even if you don’t believe, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 ~

It’s not about a mythical old man on a cloud somewhere. It’s all about LOVE, here and NOW. Good life and be blessed.

Answer #29

My mother and I both have different beliefs.. She thinks he’s there, I do not know.. But the way she put it.. is even if he isn’t real.. and you act as though he is.. You’re going to follow what this supposed god wants you to do. And that is normally leading you to be the best person you can be. If you read the bible, most of them will tell you to do things that can only better you.. so really believing and praying will not hurt anything. Now do I believe and pray? No.. But I think my mom brought up a good point. :)

Answer #30

Continuation of God is Within

Do not listen to any Negative thoughts, send them away and say you will never accept any negativity anymore and ask for God’s White Light to be placed around you, your home, your car and your family all day and night. Then ask that you want only the highest and the best around you from this day forward. We all need to do this daily.

Watch how things start to change around you in your life and the Healing Process will begin. By asking daily for help, as many times as you need, you will begin to see the change. You are in charge of yourself, so take charge and cancel or delete anything or any thought that is not you, or that you do not feel happy with, simply let go and let God! Ron J. Oberon

Answer #31

God is real

Answer #32

Well, if you don’t believe in any gods, it seems kind of silly to pray.

Answer #33

You shouldnt pray, he isnt real.

Answer #34

God is Within - Not out there somewhere!

You may say, “I just don’t know what to believe anymore.” I am sure that the following will help you realize and understand more of what you can do for yourself and learn to Love & change everything in your life.

First you definitely will be on the right path, if you start to believe in, and Love yourself. This is how you begin to learn what Love is. Something for you to believe in; is believe in yourself; this is the only belief you will ever need from now on in your life.

Your Soul, the real you is a tiny light which is in your Heart, which is a part of God and therefore “God is within you at all times, and not out there somewhere,” but is; all there is - that exists, in all of that is out there, everywhere - this is all part of God the Source.

We can never be separated from God, unless we make up that separate feeling of a separation in our own minds by our own God given free choice. We all have this free choice to choose what we want and what we like and also we can always change our choices if we don’ like what we chose. We are responsible for all our choices or actions.

Many people live, coming from all that is outside of them and from what others think say or do, instead of living from within. All Healing comes from within to heal whatever aliments we have in our bodies and in our mind. Do you want to be healed?

These ailments or afflictions are there for our learning process of correcting and changing our past choices and mistakes. Many of which are from our past life and the reason we are here on Earth in the first place; now in this life here to correct them.

Think talk within your-self with a new faith in yourself and believe only in yourself and this is how you believe in God. This is the only service God expects of you. You do not have to go to church to find or speak to God. — Spirituality is how you live and treat others and nothing to do with what you believe. We all need to “change our ways.”

I repeat; believe only in yourself and who you really want to be. God is Love, so Love yourself and this is how you Love God. This is doing God’s work. Then give this Love to others, especially your spouse & family. Then give Love to everyone and everything around you, with Gratitude for all that you already have no matter how little that is.

Listen to your inner-voice, which is only positive and good and this is how God speaks to you everyday all day. Follow only your own intuition that feels good and positive. Then Listen to your conscience, which is your own Guide standing on your right guiding and protecting you from all harm. You must Listen — that is the key to change your life. You can never really be alone, as God and your Guide are always there 24/7. Ron J. Oberon

Answer #35

jane of the jungle, It is truly a tragic situation to hear of your dad & your mom’s sister deaths. But it also unfortunate that you blame God for not answering prayers. We often don’t understand God’s sovereignty for it doesn’t always make sense. God will answer prayers with either yes, no or wait. Our lives, this side of eternity, are fragile and all of us will die sooner or later. That’s why it’s vitally important to truly trust God even when things don’t go the way we hoped. He is real and He does comfort those in the midst of tragic & trying times. In fact, He will meet you at the point of your need. Don’t doubt Him, simply cast all your care upon Him for He cares for you.

I lost my mom recently, and it was nothing but the assurance of knowing she was with Him in glory that gave me real peace. The bitterness you hold onto will only hurt you. Give it to God and He will give you peace that passes all understanding!

In closing, God never said life this side of heaven would be easy nor always pleasurable. This world is cursed with sin and we all will go thru trials & tribulations. Stay encouraged and know that God is there for you when you need Him. Trust Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins and enter into a right relationship with God who made you as His greatest creation!

God is not a person; it is your life source and all that is all around you, the birds, trees, mountains the Planets and yes the Sun. It is all God, the force; life itself in any form, including yourself is all part of God.

Think talk within yourself with a new faith in yourself and believe only in yourself and this is how you believe in God and this is the only service God expects of you. You do not have to go to church, belong to a religion to find or speak to God.

I repeat, believe only in yourself and who you really want to be. God is Love, so Love yourself and this is how you Love God. This is doing God’s work. Then give this Love to others and especially your family, then give Love to everyone and everything around you, with Gratitude for all that you already have, no matter how little that is. God is ever giving and never taking.

Listen to your inner-voice, which is only positive and good and this is how God speaks to you everyday. Follow only your own intuition that feels good and positive. Then Listen to your conscience, which is your own Guide standing on your right guiding and protecting you from harm. You must listen that is the key to change your life. You can never really be alone, as God and your Guide are always there. Ron J. Oberon

I dont believe everything, I dont think he made the world in 7 days or adam and eve, and I dont believe jesus can cure people. I dont believe he made the world at all either. I just think maybe he was some person who died and looked ovver us or something. I only believe in it because sometimes if I pray because im that upset it happens! but the thing is to proper christians, there is no proof the bible is true! it could just be some old man being bored and writing a book. :S well I dont know but when I pray it sometimes comes true and I believe something is there, you just gotta have faith.

God is Within - Not out there somewhere!

That is WHY it is a BELIEF, and personal and you’re just going to be p*ssing everyone off by trying to convert them to your cause.

You can’t prove he exists, you only have your own personal experience to show. so stop being a bible basher please.
