How to ask her out and not screw it up?

Okay, so theres this girl I like at school… Her name is Elizabeth and Shes a sophomore (I’m a freshman). I met her at the first day of school, after some time of talking on the bus and at school I started to have feelings for her. It seemed every time I went to ask her out or something she would have a boyfriend. Now, she has no boyfriend and I guess it is my chance… I have strong feelings for this girl but I don’t want to ask her out just to hear her say “No.” I really like the girl and I don’t want to screw it up… any advice?

ask her to hang out.. that will let you get to know each other a little more outside of school and riding the bus. sometimes when you hang out for a while, something develops and you dont even have to ask her then, just know the feelings are the same.

build a friendship first, if you havent already. don’t be too eager to start a relationship and make sure shes ready for one also, especially if she just got out of a relationship with someone else. but when you ask her out, keep it casual dont make it a big thing. just start talking and be like “yea we should hang out sometime” there, no pressure on you or her. she knows you want to hang out but youre not scaring her away at the same time
