What else is needed for a guinea pig?

Let’s see. Of course the obvious you need a cage, food and water but you also need hay. They need it to digest there food. If yours is long haired (Like mine was) then you may need to brush him/her once every day or two, and occasionaly small baths with baby shampoo (Watch the ears, make sure nothin gets in there). When I had a long haired Guinea Pig his hair started growing really long and it was getting in the places where he uses the bathroom and it stuck to him so you might have to cut it every month or so. They need little wood blocks or some type of chewy you get from a pet store because theyre teeth grow constantly like mice and rats. If you only get one then you might want to give him/her EXTRA attention to prevent lack of socization and lonelyness. Hmmm, they love fruit and veggies. The cage should be cleaned like once a week (Like Bartintheuk said ^^) to prevent all their fecies to pile up and smell. They absoultly LOVE to get out of theyre cage and romp around and hop and just have fun(= My opinion, they are great pets and they are absoultly adorable ^^ Message me for anything else, good luck!!
