Getting my mom to notice?

Ok so I am having a really really tough time adjusting to the new small hick town we moved to. I’ve been here since september and I absolutely hate it. I’ve tried to tell my mom and she listens, then she’ll come up with a plan to get me out and I’ll be really happy for a week (if that long). Then she’ll crush my hopes and dreams without so much as a sorry. My cousin has offered me a place to stay but my mom won’t let me go. So my question is, nothing else has worked to snap her out of fantasy land so do you think if I lost about 15lbs. She would take me seriously that being her is affecting my health?

Be happy that you have a roof over your head,most people can’t even afford to live in a decent house these days,I didn’t like my area when first moving here cause the kids here were awful but I got use to it all. Just try and adjust to the environment,you will change your mind,I did and I’m happier than I was in Los Angeles.
