Get rid of dark underarms?

I have dark underarms, but tried rubbing it with pumice stone but it’s still dark. How can I can rid of it? It’s starting to get warm here and I want to be able to wear tank tops. Help!

Ok well thats due to you holding the under arm spray to close, it stais your skin, id just use some baby powder (scented) instead and in a few weeks/days you should notice a difference…

It could also be “acanthosis nigricans.” Or it could be PCOS, I’m not completely sure. I may have it too… =( but here’s a site that I found…

This sounds like ‘acanthosis nigricans’ which is a symptom of insulin resistance. Insulin resistance is a warning sign for many things, such as PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome.

I’ve heard rubbing lemons on your knees and heels keeps them from being dark. You might want to go to a beauty supply store and see if they have any products that can help you. It just may be you a have genetically dark underarms and there’s not much you can do. If it is genetic, ask your mom or another family member and see if they have any ideas.
