What's a GED and why do you get it?
Whats a GED? How do you get it? Why do you get it?
General Education Development Test. If you pass the test, you will recieve a certificate that is (supposed to be) equivalent to a high school diploma. You will have to look up where to take the test locally. You would get it if for some reason you could not complete the states recommend high school course load.
Now this part is just my opinion, but I believe most employers look down on GED’s when compared to highschool diplomas.
