FYI means “for your information” which is meant to pass information to you.

BTW means “by the way” and conveys information as an aside as in A parenthetical departure; a digression.

In passing, incidentally, as in She’s my wife’s cousin, and by the way, a good friend.
Parenthetically, in addition, as in We saw Mary last week, and by the way, did Tom call you?
