How to use FunAdvice properly?

Easy enough.

If you have any questions - whatever theme it may be - ask them on the questions page. (Please do not ask trivial things that can be googled in 3 seconds. It is also not welcome if kids ask people to do their homework. We will help with understanding the homework though.) Someone always answers.

If you have any trivial things that you want to tell everyone. Like how you feel or that you have bought a new pair of shoes or anything else, you can write a status update. in “Updates”.

If you have useful or amusing links and videos or photos that you would like to share, bring them on. But make sure that you don’t mess with copyright. Otherwise your stuff gets deleted by the admins.

If you know something very well, you can write a “How To”.

The funadvice points are an indicator of how active and how established a user is. Some functions of the site will work only after you have a certain amount of points. Like private messages by funmail or posting links. This is basically to protect the community from trolls, spammers, cyber bullies and the like. You get points for every pust. You get points if people like your answers to questions. And people will sometimes give you some of their own points if you have done something nice.
