What do you say when one of your friends are pregnant, but it happened by accident?

You tell her that your there for her and if she needs anything even if its just to talk your there for her. You can still say congratulations if she is keeping the baby, it is however a huge moment in a girl/womans life.

I think it depends on the situation. If she got pregnant on accident but is happy about it then go ahead and say congrats. If she isn’t then maybe just try and console her :)

Just say I hope your alright, I’ll be there for support if you need me..

P.S - both of my pregnancies were “accidental” (failed birth control) and they both turned out to be great moments in my life and wonderful experiences. I still loved hearing congratulations from people.

I usually go with the “Wow! How far along are you?”

I ask how they feel about it. Like that happened with a friend of mine. In order to know what the response to provide (comfort, enthusiasm, etc), I have to find out how they are feeling. Even if it is planned, I still want to know how they are feeling. You can’t go wrong when you ask a question like ‘how are you feeling’. Too many times people assume that you must be happy at a pregnancy, or you must be sad at a death. People have a multitude of feelings. Just ask.

lmao no i am not the dad. it is my friend from high school, i try to keep in touch with some friends, and i havent talked to her in a while, so i txted her and she told me she was prego. i was shocked lol

If she’s happy then I’d say gratz. But you could just ask her how she feels.

why would you need to tell her anything? show her rather that shes got your support and love because trust me shes going to need all the love and support she can get… take care

Since she has decided to have the child and not give it up, Congratulations are in order.
