How can I motivate my friend to take action?
Mandy, I’ve always pictured you from only the attention in the media and rumors on the internet as a king soul. I hope I’m not too far off base.
Well, here’s the story. I have a friend who is have pecuniary problems. Compounding his current finances with a bad relationship with his mother he is stuck switching from place to place in order to simply have a roof over his head. I try to be a good friend and provide, but I’m not blessed with much more. I help him on weekends and give him rides when need comes but I don’t really know if any progress is being made. This last night I believe he finally hit rock bottom and my problems took a turn for the worst as well. I believe my friend may be too dependent on me and I don’t know what to really say to motivate him to the point of truly, honestly taking action.
