I wouldn’t follow him first. If he follows you first, then you could return the follow, but don’t start following him all of a sudden.

i understand how you feel. i’d say don’t follow him until you know you’re really over him. because imagine how bad you’d feel if you did follow him and then see a picture he posted of him and another girl, or partying etc.

I’m completely over him, he has a gf & I really don’t care for it. I just wanted to slowly build up the acquaintanceship. Anything he does wouldn’t hurt me anymore. Honestly. Thanks for your response though :)

I agree. My ex and I followed each other on instagram but then just recently he stopped following me and I was so over it that I just in followed him.

If you have really moved on, you could follow him. But then you don’t need to be best of friends again because you might fall for him for the second time and get your heart broken again.
