Do flat feet have an effect on performance in sports?

I have flat feet and sometimes when running the bottom of my feet hurt for while.

depending on how you run, like me i bounce, as in,i just plant the bottom of my foot on the ground and basicly just kinda spring up, but not to much so it still looks like a smooth run. and with people who roll there feet like my friend, i think its best to have more of an arch on your foot, have you ever tried bouncing?

Yes, it definitely can make an impact. There are exercises you can do to help with your arches. I suggest looking into that. You’d probably find it quite beneficial.
