We have an oler outside cat that is now around 8 or 9 years old. He has always stayed close to our home, we live in a wooded area on acerage. In the last month he has left of a day or two at a time. He has been fixed therefore we are not sure what keeps him away. Any ideas?
You should not be neglectful by allowing your cats to roam unsupervised in the first place, It will be your irresponsibility that gets your cats killed,people have 0 tolerance for roaming cats who have irresponsible cat owners.It is in the best interest of your Cats-humans-wildlife that you keep your cat inside or build a enclosure for it. Research the free roaming cat.
more than likley there coul be a female cat around. even though he has had his bits cracked they still get the feelings. I have 2 male cats and they too have been fixed but still have girlfriends.
