Fish cetaceans have a tongue , like quadrupeds, but that of other fish is quite different: it is stationary & adherent to the bottom of the mouth, so it does not contribute to the voice inflections, fish having none. This tongue hardly seems most likely to taste the nourishment that the Sharia in the mouth, since it is not - only motionless, but also cartilage. It can facilitate swallowing by the elevation it forms in the mouth
