Well, it's actually more of a symptom of an infection, than a disease...Certain fish don't just have it...they get it. Bacterial infections, injury, water quality, Vitamin A deficiency, tumors, and gas embolism...are some of the causes.
I really wanna say its the "Black Molly" fish that im thinking about, because my friend has a betta fish and thts not it. Does tht fish have the disease?

A lot of types of fish have bulging eyes. Betta, Goldfish, Black Molly's, etc...Some fish have a disease called pop-eye.
There are several different fish species that have "big eyes". Can you be more specific?
