First day dilemma

Okay,so I’m entering my Junior year of high school and my style is pretty casual,like jeans and a tee. But I want to wear something to help people notice me more..any suggestions for looking cute without trying too hard? (No tanks or shorts allowed)

I’m wearing a high waisted floral skirt from urbanoutfitters.com. they have tons of cute stuff.

hmm maybe skinny jeans…with color..like maybe your favorite color..and a white tee with some print on it..if you own chucks wear them

Nice shirts (as in pretty/dressy…not cashmere or something) matched with jeans works great. You know like those dress shirts (ones that are flowy at the bottom and tapered under the bust and look like miniature dresses) but not one that is actually big enough to wear as a dress.

I would suggest a cute tee with screen print on it, or a loud pattern, pair it with a pair of skinny jeans, with a pair of flats.
