i think that lauryn hill is probably, and always will be, my favorite female rapper. she delivered deep messages (somewhat like tupac did in a few of his more positive songs) & she spoke about things no other female rapper would talk about then. like, serious social issues and problems with society… teenage pregnancy, irresponsibility with our youth, aids, wars, poverty, etc. it wasn’t just the simple things and limited subject matters that most female (and even male rappers) stuck to. i don’t know… most of the female rappers today are too raunchy lyrically, like with sex talk… they go a little too far sometimes.

I wouldn’t classify Lauryn Hill as a rapper but she does have amazing music :)

yep. she was around before you were born in the fugees. lol but she seems more R&B in my opinion.
