How can I get off my fathers cell phone plan?

Well, that may be a little tricky cause he won’t go for it. GOD! every freaking time I get into something I like they feel like they have to take it away from it. It’s like I have NO freedom what’s so ever!

THANK GOD! My cell works. It was just the persons cell I was trying to text has it’s service off or something cause, I kept getting this message saying something weird but when I texted my moms cell it went through. :) sorry about the mishap :S

That’s good news! About your question, though (since it probably applies to many other things, too), do you have any income of your own, or are you completely financially dependent on your parents? If the latter, there’s not much you can do to get out from under their thumb, unless you can change the nature of your relationship with them. If the former, just get your own cell phone and give him back the one he gave you - with a big, smiling “thank you!” of course.
