When you exfoliate your face, does it cleanse it as well?

Answer #1

Well, it scrubs all the dead skin off your face and makes it smoother. I’m not sure if it helps with acne or not. :/

Answer #2

yes. it takes off the skin and gets all the stuff outta your pores.

Answer #3

Yes. Exfoliating your face will get rid of dead skin cells lying on the surface. Acne and pimples are actually an infection underneath the skin. If you keep your skin healthy and clear, you will get fewer pimples/zits. When your skin is kept oily and dirty (makeup left on at night, not washing face every day…) you will begin to see a build up of pimples and maybe even continuous acne. Using a good exfoliator like a beaded one will scrub off any dead skin and dirt from just general living, and should work deep into pores to remove clogged oil that will build up and form a pimple. When using an exfoliator, wet and wash your face with warm water first to open pores, rub exfoliator on in circles with your fingers and really work the skin (without scratching it) at a medium pressure. I usually leave mine on after that for about 5 mins as it can act like a mask too. Rinse with warm water, then cool water to open then close pores. Dab with a clean cloth and remember to put on a bit of oil free moisturizer too!

Thank you very much! :D

Answer #5

Lol yeah that’s what I was thinkin’ too.

Answer #6

Good answer. I just want to mention, do NOT exfoliate if you have super dry skin as it can dry out your skin even more and it gets rid of the natural oils.
