How do I enable my microphone again?

So I was using HyperCam2 and I didn’t know it was recording the sound.

So I disabled my microphone! It is also not listed under sound devices anymore. It is built-in my laptop~ How can I fix it

Answer #1

Either

(a) in the “System Tray” (bottom right hand corner of screen) there will be a symbol looking like a loudspeaker - double-click on it to open the “volume control”. The “Mic Volume” should show up. If so remove the tick in the “mute” box and / or adjust the draw-bar - moving it further up to obtain appropriate microphone sensitivity. If the “Mic Volume” cannot be seen, go to [ Options ] [ Properties ] then put a tick in the “Mic Volume” box. then proceed as above;

or

(b) access the same facilities via [ Start ] [ Contol Panel } [ Sound & Audio Devices ] [ Audio ] [ Sound Recording ] and select the microphone by clicking in the Tick Box.

Hope it works for you.
