What are effective ways to save money daily?

Get a jar of some sort thats hard to get things out off and put your change in it every day. my family did that and had like 300 dollars by the end of the month

Agreed with breakingfan2006. You also, set up another saving account, when you get paid; a certain amount goes into the other account without you needing to physically take the money out. Get an account where you cannot have a card to withdraw money out. After 6 months or more you will start seeing a lot of money in your account. You can start off small, with say, $100 per fortnight and once you start earning more, maybe place $500 per fortnight, you would have enough saved up for a car or holiday or a wedding if you are super keen. :-P I started doing this last year, having the bank automatically deduct the amount from my wages every fortnight and it’s amazing how much you can accumulated if you do not have a card to physically take the money out at an automatic telly machine.
