Cartilege ear piercings

does is hurt that much to get the top of your ear peircied because I’ve already got 2 pearcings but they are on the lobes, im talking about the top..?

I got my lobes pierced didn’t hurt at all. Got my cartridge pierced and surprised me because it stung like a shot normally does. Then it was just really tended for about 4 weeks, didn’t help that my friend flicked it as soon as I got it too… bastard.

no not at all I got my cartilege then a lobe pirecing and I was surpised that the lobe hurt more than my cartilage I’ve had it pireced for about 3 months now and its finE like it don’t hurt at all just make sure you clean at least twice a day

It depends on your tolerance for pain. I had mine done and it didn’t bother me that much but my friend had hers done and she bawled like a baby.

It depends on your pain tolerance - my older sister thought it hurt A LOT but for me it didn’t hurt that much. They key is to expect a lot of pain so it wont feel so bad.

well I al-ready have 2 lobe piercings and expect a lot of tenderness and discomfort after the piercing because I got mine done yesterday and I can barely lie my head down on a pillow without a sharp shoot of pain go to my piercing and it is still quite red. if you have a low tolerance for pain then you will be surprised because the pain starts about 10 minutes after the piercing is finished.
