Dyeing my hair

Im dyeing my naturally dirty blond hair black in a month. Will it work to just buy the boxed kind of dye at drugstores or should I get it done professionally? I need it to be as cheap as possible. Does anyone have stories/advice? Thanks, its much appreciated :)

I died my hair (last year) from blond to black by using the boxes you buy at the store. Beware however, getting your hair back to blond WILL have to be done professionally and WILL be difficult, so be sure that you want to do this.

Also be careful that you don’t get the black die everywhere on your face etc. lol. If you do use nail polish remover to get it off.
