Dragons?

I know you wont find a dragon today but once they have existed. Just tell me what you think about it.

Answer #1

Well I kinda disagree because it was once said that dinosours was actually related to dragons its just that they tend to put it in fairytales and roman times and that wasnt actually there time and the closest thing to a dragon these days are lizards in the dessert and suprizeingly enough a sea horse.

Answer #2

I think it’s a nice fantasy, but reality is, it’s highly unlikely that these huge mythical beasts really existed. If so, I think we’d find some evidence of it, be it skeletons or something else.

Answer #3

There are skeletons. People today call them “Dinosaurs” which is greek for “terrible lizard”. Back a few hundred years ago, people hadn’t even heard of dinosaurs, but just about every culture we know about today (from China to Germany to Mexico and everywhere inbetween) has some form of dragon legend. People have found big bones buried in the ground since who knows when. They found the bones and didn’t know what they were from. So they came up with stories and legends to explain the bones. They also used dragon legends and legends of other monsters to explain the phenomenon of lost ships at sea, people who traveled and never came home again, volcano eruptions, tidal waves and so forth. Some travellers came up with dragon and other stories to embellish their real-live travels to try to impress their listeners. Just like we come up with sightings of UFOs, loch ness monster type things, big foot and so on today.

So from a culture standpoint, dragons are very much ‘real’.
