Is downloading Windows illegal if I have a genuine product key?

hi,

got a old toshiba qosmio, with no hard drives so no OSes. I was wondering if it was illegal to download Windows MCE? Even if i have a legal product key??

If you have the original key, then no - it isn’t illegal, but keep in mind that the key is only good for a limited number of uses.
