Can I really download PhotoShop from Adobe's website?

I talked to an Adobe rep on the phone yesterday, she told me that I can download PhotoShop CS5 straight from the website after purchasing it, is this true? Has anyone ever done that?

Why would she lie? They have an online store where you can download all of their products. Here is the link to purchase and download Photoshop straight from the site. But you should wait. The new version of Photoshop is coming out this summer. http://funadvice.com/r/15uupoqnqta

Actually the new version of Photoshop, CS6, is coming out May 7.

You could do torrents. It involves a lot of programming and what not though. There are sites like The Pirate Bay and IsoHunt. You gotta have the torrent programs like UTorrent or Vuze. And you type in what you are looking for, then click download torrent. You have to crack the codes in order for the software to run well though. This is what I’ve seen people doing anyways, but you get better service and quality if you buy it, or ask a friend if you could borrow a cd from them to install it onto your computer.

Its my first time doing it that’s why. I’m gonna ask ‘em if I can upgrade to CS6 for free.
