Perfect question to see at the top of the page when I’m eating breakfast, lol. What’s happening here is a combination of two things: The feces is drying out. You know how your skin turns white when it’s too dry? Same concept. And… Bacteria in the feces eat the good parts (yeck) and leave the parts they can’t digest, like calcium from bones and other high calcium foods that dogs tend to get into.
