Dog is bleeding..I need advice now

My dog tried to eat my cats cat food in a can and then I tried to take the can away and she was holding onto it hard with her mouth.

A minute later I accidently stepped on her foot I think and I heard a weird noise and afterword she went to hide under the table. When I went to see if she was alright I saw some blood on her paw and around her mouth. The paw blood may have just dripped from her mouth.

I inspected her paws and mouth and could not find where the blood was coming from (there was not too much blood)

All animal hospitals are closed until the morning..

What do I do?

It is now 3 hours later and she will not budge from lying ontop of my backpack under my bed.

Help.

Answer #1

take her to a normal hospital? maybe they can atleast find wer your dogs bleeding from? and I don’t know!!! better than nothing!! hope you find a way xxx

Answer #2

There are Vets on call. IF you dog is still bleeding, and the wound looks deep call your Vets number he will have and answering service that take down you information and the Vet will decided it he thinks you ought to come in.

If it has stopped blooding and can wait until morning I would still get the wound checked out and and antibiotic make sure you don’t need stitches,

Don’t leave cat food cans around especially half opened. Too tempting for a dog

Answer #3

well did the can have sharp edjes? maybe she/he got cut, or the tounge, it could get infected
