How do you measure a dogs neck for a collar?

Hey I need to know how big my dogs neck is so that way I can get a new cooler for her how do you measure a dogs neck???

just take a tpe measuser and measure in inches

Get a string…put it around the dogs neck…and use it to see how big the dog’s neck is…then take it with you to the store, and get the collar that adjusts to that size the best.

Well, usually when you go to get a collar…on the back of the hanger thing that it’s on…it tells you what type of breed can wear that size. Also, if you have a petsmart store…just take your pet with you and try them on.. But if not just estamate…remember the collars are retractable. You can adjust the size.
