NO those people are morons unfortuanlty majority of the people who talk about emo and majority of the kids who call themselves emo still have no idea what the word actually means and this obviously includes them emo is nothing more than a style of dress and a genre of music it has NOTHING to do with cutting (self harm) depression (a mental disorder) suicide, eating disorders, ect because feelings and emotions play NO part in any label or stereotype which is what majority of the kids who talk about emo and majority of the kids who call themselves emo still don’t understand it also has NOTHING to do with being emotional because everyone in the world has emotions and nothing to do with wearing black clothes or painting your nails/dying your hair, ect black your only emo if you WANT to be emo and even then most people think there emo when there actually not

Painting your nails black has nothing to do with any stereotype. People who think that are fcking idiots. I paint mine black all the time. It’s the only color I use because I love the color black. If you like your nails painted black, keep painting them black. If those morons keep bothering you about it tell them to shut the fck up and mind their own business because they don’t know what they’re talking about.

That doesn’t at all make you emo,just shows you like wearing Black nail polish,a lot of people wear it and they aren’t emo,don’t label yourself,not good.
