Isn't high school so predictable?

hey I am in highschool and I was just wondering if any one else agreed with me. ok I mean it seems like highschool is like already written out. I mean with lciques and everything I mean if you like someone not in your clique chances are slim you wont go out w/ them and everything. I feel like the school is just socially inclined to make us written in stone. I hate that why cant everyone just be like one big group of friends! it wud be so much easier and everything! k just wondering! =]

seriously guys, forget about high school crap. if you have one or two good friends that you can rely on great, whatever. just ignore the rest because once you leave school you will NEVER see these people again unless you want to.

there is something completely unnatural about the way schools are organised. no where on this planet do adult humans congregate in such massive numbers segregated into age groupings.

outside in the real world, you will make friends with people older than you, younger than you, different cultures, different incomes, different everything. think of the people around you as a boring monoculture, where relationships stultify from lack of diversity.

make your own friends outside of school. and if the kids at school are split into groups and you cant infiltrate, just forget them and their sorry boring lives.

yeah I agree with u. Everyone at highschool seems to be in small groups. It bothered me sooo much before that I dont even care about groups right now. SO now I simply ignore the groups and stay alone in my own little world lol

Answer #3

I don’t have a group I hang out with all sorts people. However, I do see your piont because the groups I hang out with don’t hang out with each other. They didn’t even sit together when ithey came over 4 my bday!

I think the only way things are going to change is if you want them to. Just be yourself and try to meet new people. I have met the most amazing opinionated people in my high school who I may have never talked to before if I and not been so open to meeting new people. sure there will be some people who will be ignorant and try to stick with their cliques but eventually I think things in high school and cliques will change. Just be who you are and don’t let people ever try to change your values and morals

Answer #5

I AGREE BUT THERES A REASON WHY PEOPLE BE IN THEIR OWN GROUPS.MOST OF THEM THINK THAT THEY ARE TO GOOD OR TO POPULAR TO BE WITH SOME PEOPLE WHEN THEY DONT EXACTLY NO NOTHING ABOUT THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT THEY ARE SURROUNDED BY .BUT THEY WANT TO TREAT PEOPLE DIFFERENT AS IF THEY ARE BETTER THAN THEM WHEN THEY ARE NOT.THEY JUST HAVE NO CONFIDENTS IN THEIR SELF SO THEY PRETEND TO BE SOMEONE THAT THEY ARE NOT.THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE LIVE THEIR LIFE AS A LIE.SO DONT WORRY ABOUT THEM JUST BE YOURSELF AND you WILL GET VERY FAR IN LIFE WITH MAKING YOUR OWN DECISIONS!!!

Eventhough I’m just in secondary school,I’ve gotta admit that I totally agree with you… The students are separated into groups…as in the popular group, the nerds and others…It’s like all of us are classified and placed into a group where we belong…It’s not really fun this way,I mean…If you don’t mix around, where’s all the fun and new experiences? The nerds could certainly teach the popular kids a thing or two…n vice versa… Eventhough all of us have our own differences,we are not weird, rite? It’s our differences that makes us unique…If everyone in this world were the same,it would be BORING…
