Do you give money to the homeless?

I tend to give food and a bit of a chat, rather than money. The fear that money will go on drugs/alcohol is real, but that doesn’t mean we can ignore another human being.

Nope I don’t. Usually because they are just really scarey looking and I’m scared to even go near them. And thats most definitly true about the alcohol and drugs thing, thats all they use it for I’m pretty sure. Which is so sad. I’ve also read in the paper that there have been a few people caught acting out as a homeless person when they are actually really rich. There was this married couple and they had a big house and everything, the husband worked, and the wife dressed homeless in a big city and got tons and tons of money everyday for doing it. I’m not saying homeless people aren’t actually homeless, because most are, but still…makes ya think doesn’t it?

Do like my husband does when they ask him. He’ll tell them if you want to eat I’ll go and buy you something but, won’t give money.

and thats why I dont give them money I buy them apples thehe =]

No homeless people I see ever ask me for money, I just hand it to them.
