An aditorial model is the same as a runway model, they walk down the runway showing of clothing, commercial models act, or dance, or just stand there and look pretty in television commercials.

Editorial models are also known as fashion models. They will often model designer clothing. Whereas commercial models will promote anything else such as catalogues, brochures etc.

Adding to the above answers (which are both correct) Editorial models are often much taller and quite a bit skinnier than commercial models.
