Did chris brown really assault rihanna?

From E!online.com: Los Angeles police have confirmed Brown, 19, is being investigated for felony domestic battery. Sources tell E! News that the alleged victim was Rihanna, 20, and that she had visible bruises on her face. Both bailed on their scheduled Grammy performances.

A spokeswoman for Brown’s label declined comment. Rihanna’s publicist, Amanda Silverman, would only tell E! News that the 20-year-old “Disturbia” singer was involved in a traffic mishap and “is fine.”

Per department policy, police are declining to identify the alleged victim. Investigators are attempting to track down Brown.

Yes, they didn’t tell who the woman was at first but then it was later discovered he was beating Rihanna after they got into an argument. I read it off several different websites too. That’s the reason the didn’t go to the Grammys last night. Rihanna is ok but she has yet to say if she is pressing charges against Chris Brown.

thats what they are saying so I don’t know but I don’t think his career will end a lot of people go thru this you just have to live and learn and hopefully she want put herself back in this situation…bye a tazer a gun a knife or something to protect urself from stupid guys..

There are reports from “sources” that say Rhianna called the police about being assaulted. She herself hasn’t actually come out publicly and stated whether or not she was involved in the altercation.

It is interesting, when one supports that Rhianna may have been the victim, that both Brown and Rhianna dropped out of performing at such a hyped up award ceremony. I also believe that if she wasn’t assaulted, she would act quicker in dismissing these claims and defend her boyfriend. Also, it was reported that Brown and the victim were both in a limousine. I doubt if in a relationship, Chris Brown would be in a limousine with anyone other than Rhianna… lest there be another scandal.

Either way, whoever the woman was, it’s unlikely anything will ever happen to Chris Brown. The majority of his fans tend to be supporting him and in fact turning on the victim in question. It’s unfortunate, because whether or not Rhianna is the victim or it’s just some “nameless face” no one, regardless of fame or fortune, should get away with the type of violent crime committed.
